Inspiring those who will inspire tomorrow

Communications & Engagement Internship

Join us in transforming how people understand and discuss mental health by highlighting the fundamental importance of human connection and relationships in overall wellbeing. Immerse yourself at the crossroads of storytelling, healing, culture, and technology in this 10-week virtual summer internship program. We bring together talented students from diverse academic disciplines to work collaboratively to develop a campaign to reframe mental health in an integrative relational context, and to promote the basic principles of IRH.  Toward our commitment to re-engaging the conventional mental health field and psychotherapy practices, you will help to inform the cultural zeitgeist and nurture integrative relational digital communities of practice that align with the complex relational health needs of all people.

Interns will work in cross-functional teams, leveraging their unique academic backgrounds to approach this challenge from multiple perspectives. Students interested in the intersection of mental health, culture, and technology will have the opportunity to assist in various projects and activities across multiple online platforms. You will gain hands-on experience in strategic communications while advancing key messages about human functioning. You can expect to:

  • Learn key concepts in relational health and communications strategy

  • Introduce and promote the core principles of integrative relational health to target audiences

  • Gain real-world experience in cross-disciplinary collaboration and strategic communications

  • Design and launch a comprehensive communications campaign for a non-profit organization
